Jeanette R. Cedotal

Jeanette R. Cedotal, 82, native of Golden Meadow, LA and resident of Cut Off, LA, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026.

Mrs. Jeanette is survived by her aunts, Gertie Cheramie and Theresa McDonald, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Mrs. Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Jean Cedotal; her parents, Ernest Joseph Rousse and Gladys Gisclair Rousse; her stepmother, Eva Rousse; her grandparents, Louis Rousse and Adolpine Cheramie, Clifford Gisclair and Leoncia Duet; and her aunts, Ozeme Rousse and Ernestine Josephine Rousse.

Mrs. Jeanette loved spending time with family and friends. She loved to sew, watch TV, and listen to music – “The Oldies”.

The family would like to thank the staff of Chateau Terrebonne Nursing Home, and St. Joseph Hospice of Thibodaux for the care, kindness, patience, and comfort given to Mrs. Jeanette.

Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service for Mrs. Jeanette at 11:00 AM on March 14, 2026, at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano, LA.
