Janet Rita Cheramie Richoux, 91, a native and resident of Cut Off, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 21th at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Janet is survived by her daughters, Charlene Orgeron (Glenn) and Mary Cheramie (Ralf); daughter-in-law, Jackie Richoux Cheramie (Lane); grandchildren, Jean Wells (Brad), Travis Orgeron (Mariola), Ali Cheramie, Alaina Spaulding (Justin), Leslie Juban (Patrick); great-grandchildren, Alexander Orgeron, Bree, Sawyer and Brady Wells, Ariana and David Spaulding, Rowan and Brooklyn Juban.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Noltay Richoux; parents, Evylian and Josephine Galliano Cheramie; son, David Carl Richoux and sister, Beverly Cheramie Molaison.
Janet was a member of the Ladies Alter Society.
