Janet Ledet Gisclair

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Janet Ledet Gisclair, who passed away peacefully on August 18, 2025 at the age of 91.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Friday, August 29, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Galliano, LA. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery, Galliano, LA.

She is survived by her husband of 76 years, Herbert Gisclair; children, Craig Gisclair (Sherry), Ryan Gisclair (Bonnie) and Alice Gisclair Gregory (Joe); grandchildren, Danette Gisclair Duet (Jonathon), R. J. Gisclair (Sarah), Travis Gisclair (Ashley), Matthew Gregory, Lauren Gregory; great grandchildren, Austin Duet, Drake Gisclair, Parker Duet, Destin Gisclair, Madison Gisclair and Avery Gisclair; great-great grandchildren, Willow Duet and Briggs Duet and sister, Mary Ann Terrebonne.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Alice Ledet.

She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, daughter and sister. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
