Jane F. Daves

Jane F. Daves, 87, a native of Dunshaughlin, Ireland and a resident of Thibodaux, LA, passed away in her home on Saturday, July 25, 2026.

She is survived by her daughters, Tara LaRocca (Louis Legendre Jr), and Billi Driskell; sister, Winnie Parini; grandchildren, Mary Jane Barnes, Blayke Daves, Harley Miller (Daltyn), William LaRocca (Brynn Stephens), Brooke Nguyen (Randy), Shannon DeFilippis (Mark), and Morgan Earwood; great-grandchildren, Ruby DeFilippis, Alice Miller, Beck Miller, Claire Miller, and Issaiah Beltran; as well as numerous nieces and nephews overseas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel Lee and Helena O’Rielly Lee; daughters, Donna Faust and Angelique Barnes; brothers, Thomas Brendan Lee and Kevin Lee; sister, Mary Cecelia Harris; and son-in-law Chris LaRocca.

Jane retired from the St. Mary Sheriff’s Office after serving for thirty-three years as a deputy. She enjoyed playing bingo, relaxing on her porch, and spending time with her loving family.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
