Jamie P. Vizier Sr.

Jamie P. Vizier Sr., 83, a native Golden Meadow, Louisiana and resident of Galliano, Louisiana passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026.

Jamie is survived by his loving wife, of 63 years, Pauline B. Vizier; son, Jamie Vizier Jr. (Karen); daughters, Joy Orgeron (Darryl) and Patty Gisclair (Rickey); grandchildren, Amber Orgeron, Kaitlin Matherne (Marcus), Sharla Gobert (Richard), and Tanya Ledet (Jeremy); great-grandchildren, Waylen Matherne, Kaylee Brown, Kyla Ledet, Serenity Ledet, and Tristan Ledet; and his godchild, Joanne Wooddall.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Belonie Vizier and Heneritta Guidry; brothers, Adam Vizier and Johnny Vizier; and his sisters, Gloria LaBiche, Irene Callais, and Kathleen Melancon.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, July 31, 2026 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano, Louisiana from 9:00AM with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:00AM with burial to follow at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano, Louisiana.
