Jamie Michael Adams, 61, a native and lifelong resident of Raceland, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, August 17, 2026.
Jamie was a loving uncle, great-uncle, great-great-uncle, and cherished friend whose presence touched the lives of many. He will be deeply missed by his niece, Kristy Foret; great-nieces, Emerita Callais (Thomas), Karley Benoit, and Adriana DeCoursey (Tyler); great-great-niece, Faye DeCoursey; great-great-nephew, Carsen DeCoursey; and numerous extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Frances Adams; his beloved sister, Connie Foret; grandparents, Malcolm and Marie Rodriguez and Albert and Beatrice Adams; uncle, Kirby Rodriguez; and nephew, Jay Guidroz.
Jamie took great pride in his work at Tractor Supply, where he loved helping people and making a difference in the lives of those around him. Outside of work, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his cherished dogs, Roxie, Butch, and Niko.
Jamie was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church in Raceland, where his faith was an important part of his life.
Those who knew Jamie will remember him for his kind heart, willingness to help others, love of family, and the special bond he shared with his beloved dogs. Though his time with us was far too short, the memories he created will remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
Jamie leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and treasured memories that will never be forgotten. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Services will be held at a later date.
