James "Jim" Zeringue, 89, a native and resident of Raceland, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016.
Visitation will from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Mathews, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Saturday with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Raceland, LA.
He is survived by his son, Steve Zeringue; daughter, Bonnie Franklin; grandchildren; Julia Bourg (Patrick), Aimee Vedros (Cody), Kelly Zeringue, Jeff Zeringue (Norma), Page Dupriest (David); great grandchildren, Madison, Brax, Gannon Bourg, Landon and Lily Jo Vedros, Raven Dupriest and Elise Zeringue.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy G. Zeringue; parents, Wiltz and Cecile Bourgeois Zeringue; daughter-in-law, Sherry Zeringue; son-in-law, James Franklin; brothers, Etienne, Louis, Paul, Sam, Ivy Zeringue and sisters, Beulah Ferreira and Marie Mire.
