James “Yogi” Louis Ruiz, 64, native of New Orleans and resident of Larose, passed away on Wednesday, November 27th.
Yogi is survived by his wife of 23 years, Julie Bordelon Ruiz; his daughters, Brooke Ruiz, Sarah Ruiz, Rhea (Cory) Updegraff, Michelle (Tommy) Carr, Abbie (Ludovic) Lee; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild on the way; his brother, David Ruiz; and sisters, Kim (Roger) Stevenson, Claudia Ruiz, and Debbie Ruiz.
Yogi was proceeded in death by his parents, Phillip and Claudia Ruiz.
Services will be held at a later date.
