James Michael Pierce, Sr., 55, a native of New Baden, IL and a resident of Cut Off, LA, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022.
No services are scheduled.
He is survived by his wife, Lorie Ledet Pierce; son, James Michael Pierce, Jr.; daughter, Maurie Verdin (Derek); grandchildren, Allie Walker, Jacie Walker and Henry Verdin and mother, Rita Pierce.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Lee Pierce.
James loved to BBQ, boil seafood and cook for his family and friends. He really loved making chicken noodle soup for the grandkids.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
