James Benjamin Hendrix, Jr.

James “Jimmy” Benjamin Hendrix Jr.; 78, a native of Hialeah, FL and resident of Cut Off, LA passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2026.

Mr. James is survived by his loving wife of 57 years: Elsie Hendrix; son: Craig Hendrix; grandchildren: Allie Hendrix (Paul), Renee Leonard (Steven); great grandchildren: Blakely Danos, James Hendrix Danos, Addison Bruce, Crue Townsley, Briggs Townsley, and Stevie Jo Townsly; and siblings: Betty Hartline, Susie G. Malbrough, Freida Bonner, and David Racki.

Mr. Hendrix was preceded in death by his mother: Villa Hood Racki; father: Arthur Richard Racki; and siblings: Johnnie Mae Davis, Mary Josephine Terrebonne, and Linda Geraldine Wheeler.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 from 9:00 am until service time. Mr. James's Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am with burial following in the Church Cemetery.
