James Andrew Collins

James “Jimmy” Andrew Collins, 76, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. He was a native of Chauvin and resident of Houma, LA.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin on Monday, June 29, 2026, beginning at 9:30 a.m. until a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. with burial following in church cemetery.

Jimmy is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jan Ann Boudreaux Collins; sons, Trinity Collins and wife, Angelle, Conley Collins and wife, Tiffany, and Cullen Collins; brothers, Lanny Collins and wife, Jeanne, Freeman Collins and wife, Nancy, and Randy Collins and wife, Cindy; sister Connie C. Belanger; sister-in-law, Priscilla Collins; grandchildren, Daelyn Collins and companion, Cade and Elias Collins; in-laws, Wilbert “Billy” and Cindy Boudreaux.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Iris Joseph Collins, Sr. and Annie Mae Authement Collins; and brother, Iris Collins, Jr. and Joey Collins; brother-in-law, Wayne Belanger.

Jimmy was a trucker for 23 years, He loved his 66 GTO.
