Irwin Paul Bourgeois

Irwin Paul Bourgeois, a native and resident Raceland, LA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 24, 2026.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Gaynell Fos Bourgeois; son, Marcel (Moe) Bourgeois, daughter-in-law Jennifer Croker Bourgeois, their five children, Paul, Kevin, Joy, Gage & Zoey and their 5 grandsons and 4 granddaughters. Son, Dwayne Bourgeois his 3 children, Tori, Tre & Owen “Ayla”, and his 1 granddaughter. Brother Jason Bourgeois.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Therese Babin Bourgeois; siblings, Rosella Bernard, Myra Badeaux, Nathan Bourgeois, Terry Bourgeois; Nephew, Jacob Paul Bourgeois.

Irwin was a proud Marine Corps Veteran. He was a member of various clubs such as: The Marine Corp League, The American Legion, Forty & Eight, The Lions Club, and Grand Marshall Club.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland, LA, Friday, May 29, 2026 from 12:00PM until service time. A prayer service will begin at 2:00PM. Burial will be held at a later date.
