With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for his life, we announce the passing of Hubert Peter LeBoeuf, a native of Chauvin, LA and a resident of Larose, LA. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones, on May 15, 2025, at the age of 82.
Hubert was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend — a man known for his strength, faith, and unwavering love for the Lord and his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Verdun LeBoeuf; children, Tillie (Brent) Naquin, Loretta (Percy) Lecompte, Danah Pitre, Jenny LeBoeuf, Kandy (Paul) Arnold, Tammy (Shane) Pate , Rod (Kristy) Blanchard, Celeste Blanchard, and Keisha Blanchard; brother, Corbet LeBoeuf; sister, Rita Mae Ryder; 21 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elie & Beulah LeBoeuf; brothers, Joseph, Alvin, Carroll, Nelson, and Allen LeBoeuf; sisters, Hilda Sevin, Rosalee Lirette, Mildred Rodrigue, Rosabelle Rodrigue, Beulah LeBoeuf, Norma Ann Becker, and Mary Lee Henry.
A retired carpenter by trade, he was a master of his craft, known for the excellence of his work and the dedication he brought to every project. But his true legacy was built not just in wood, but in the lives he touched — as a provider, protector, and the steady foundation of his family. He had a great sense of humor, and always made people laugh. He instilled high morals such as honesty, integrity, and exceptional work ethic to those around him.
He was a hard worker and a true fighter, facing his first cancer diagnosis in 2000 with courage and determination. Over the years, he continued to meet every challenge with grace and grit, never losing his faith or his sense of purpose.
He loved the outdoors — hunting, fishing, planting flowers and finding peace in nature. But above all, he loved Jesus. Reading his Bible brought him comfort and strength, and his relationship with God was central to everything he did. He lived his faith every day, leading his family by quiet example and deep conviction.
Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing he is now at peace, resting in the arms of the Savior he loved so dearly. His strength, wisdom, and love will continue to guide us, just as he always did in life.
