Herman “Wally” Joseph Borne, 93, a native of Raceland and recent resident of Thibodaux, LA, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026.

Herman is survived by his wife of 67 years, Tullia “Bea” Borne; children, Brian J. Borne (Tory), Celeste B. Wise (Jay), Louise B. Boudreaux; grandchildren, Chase, Logan and Abigail Boudreaux, Jared and Adam Wise and Jake Bracey; great-grandchild, Benni Jo Zeringue; brother, Leonard J. Borne and sister, Aline B. St. Pierre.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard A. Borne and Annette C. Borne; brothers, Russell and Norman Borne and son-in-law, Joey Boudreaux.
