Helena M. August, 70, a native of Luling, LA and resident of Edgard, LA, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 3:24 PM in Luling, LA.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 30, 2013 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Edgard, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Saturday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Felicia August; son, Damian August; grandchildren, Johnathan, Antoinette Gabrielle, Jasmine, James, Donté, Dé Ontae, Damian Jr. Najayla, and Damarya; brothers, Joseph and Phillip Markey and sisters, Antoinette, Sylvia, Joan and Elaine Markey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ferdinand August; parents, Joseph and Helen Markey; and daughter, Gale August.
Falgout Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
