Helen Darcey Thibodaux, 95, a native and resident of Bayou Blue, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2017.
Visitation will be held from 9 AM until service time on Monday, July 31 at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at St. Louis cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Thibodaux Sr.; 6 grandchildren, Michael Voisin, Teri Goodroe, Kenneth Thibodaux Jr., Karen Thibodaux, Kris Thibodaux, and William Skipper; 19 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her companion, Harold "Red" Haines; daughter, Maxine Voisin; grandchild, Sherry Fontenot; parents, Camile and Andresse Darcey; and 10 siblings, Almira Porche, Colden Darcey, Donald Darcey, Albon Darcey, Dewey Darcey, Harold Darcey, Nervy Langston, Orena Darcey, Annie Fonseca, and Verna Samanie.
