Helen L. Hebert

Helen Hebert, 95, a native and resident of Larose, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025.

Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, on Monday, May 5th, from 9:30 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Helen is survived by her son, Wilfred Hebert Jr. (Louise); daughter, Loretta Dufrene (Kenneth); 6 grandchildren, Natalie, Valerie, Amy, Adam, Daryl Jr., Sherrie; numerous great-grandchildren and sisters, Emily Melancon and Marie LeCompte.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred Hebert Sr.; son, Daryl Hebert Sr.; parents, Edward J. Loupe Sr. and Amelia A. Loupe; brothers, Albert Loupe and Edward Loupe Jr.; sisters, Lou Emma Matherne, Norma Ledet, Amanda Lombas, Lillian Plaisance and Doris Cretini.

She spent her time gardening and growing beautiful flowers. She found joy in quilting through the years. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. The family would like to thank her special caregivers at The Broadway as well as Hope Hospice for their care.
