Helen “Taunt Lan” Pierce Danos, 89, a native and resident of Cut Off passed away on Saturday, February 12th, 2022.
A visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose on Friday, February 18th, 2022 from 11:00 am until Mass time. Funeral Mass will begin at 1:00 pm with burial following in the Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Helen is survived by her children: Stacy Pitre (James), Billy Danos (Gail), and Mona Danos; grandchildren: Angel Kraemer (Josh), Travis Kraemer (Tonya), Nicki Gary (Elgene), Steven Prejean (Joy), and Nickol Santiny (Clement); great grandchildren: Kaleb Webster, Delilah Trahan, Sawyer Kraemer, James Bell, Jhy Gary (Brittany), Drake Prejean, Peyton Prejean, Corissa Santiny, and Gage Santiny; and great great grandchildren: Adalee, Connor, Katlynn, Amelia, Evangeline, and Jasper.
Mrs. Danos was preceded in death by her daughter: Brenda Arceneaux (Roy); grandchildren: Benny Baker III and Scott Tallman; parents: Ben Pierce Sr. and Eloncia Gros Pierce; brother: Ben Pierce, Jr. (Edith); and sisters: Pearl Savoie (Alceed) and Clara Mae Danos (Anthony).
Taunt Lan loved Mardi Gras and was a free spirit. She enjoyed spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
