Hattie “A.T.” Gisclair St. Pierre, 91, a native and resident of Galliano passed away on February 14th, 2026.
Mrs. Hattie is survived by her children: Diane Orgeron, Roxanne Adams (Larry), Robin Callais (David), Jenny LaCoste (Kenneth); and Robert “Bobby" St. Pierre (Julie); grandchildren: Endya Zeringue, Duke Hebert (Angie Champagne), Tristan Orgeron (Trace), April Santiny (Scot), Brad Adams (Becky), Joy Prejean (Steven), Denise Sissac (Steven), Michelle St. Pierre, Megan Chauffe (Josh), Randi Chabert (Chris), Austin Richeaux (Rhea), Mitzi Dufrene (Ronald), and Robert “Bobby Jo” St. Pierre; great grandchildren: Jarrett Hebert, Lauren Naquin (Stefon), Tessa and Dashiell Orgeron, Ashely Terrebonne (Brad), Scotty Santiny, Trent, Alyssa, and Chandler Adams, Drake and Peyton Prejean, Whitney Wallace, Lexi St. Pierre, Lilly and Amelia Chauffe, Charlie Chabert, Jude (Alyssa), Bruce, Pierce, and Danica Dufrene, and Harrison and Charlotte St. Pierre; and great great grandchildren: Oliver and Elliot Naquin, and Grace and Kate Terrebonne.
Mrs. St. Pierre was preceded in death by her loving husband: Herman “Babe” St. Pierre; son in law: Joseph “Joe” Orgeron; grandson in law: Larry Zeringue; parents: Sam Jean Gisclair Sr. and Soliska Cheramie Gisclair; siblings: Melva Autin, Larry Gisclair, Valcin Gisclair, Sam Jean Gisclair Jr., Emelda “Doll” Cheramie, and Mary Ann Griffin
A.T. regularly sang and prayed the Rosary in French and volunteered her time at St. Joseph Catholic Church; where she was a lecturer, choir member, religion teacher, extraordinary minister, minister of Holy Communion. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano on Thursday, February 19th, 2026 from 9:00 am until service time. Her Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am with burial following in the Church Cemetery.
