Gloria Boudreaux Pierce

Gloria B. Pierce, a native and resident of Raceland, passed away on her 87th birthday, August 7, 2026.

Visitation will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Church on Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 8:30 am until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Nativity Cemetery.

Gloria is survived by her children; Terry Pierce (Mel), Susan Danos (Harold), Judy Folse, Daniel Pierce (Theresa), Anthony “Bean” Pierce (Stephanie), James Pierce (Connie) and Arlene Adams (Ryan); 21 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; brother, Ernest Boudreaux (Fe’); sister, Yvonne Boudreaux, sister-in-law, Judy Boudreaux, and sister-in-law, Rosalie Ledet (Billy).

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie J. Pierce, Jr.; parents, O’Neil Boudreaux, Sr. and Marie Louise Boudreaux; brothers, O’Neil “Black” Boudreaux, Jr., Norman Boudreaux (Barbara), Norris Boudreaux; grandsons, John Danos, Cody Pierce and granddaughter, Destinee Blanchard.
