Glenn J. Plaisance

Glenn J. Plaisance, 75, a native of Galliano and a resident of Houma, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025.

Glenn is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Sandra Cheramie Plaisance; daughters, Jamie Staszak (Chris Sr.), and Tara Matherne (Cole); grandchildren, Hannah Staszak, Christopher Staszak Jr, and Adelynn Matherne; brothers, Carl (Susie), Raymond Jr (Nina), Robert (Michelle), and Charles “Chuck”; and sisters, Brenda Punch (Henry) and Stacy Brady (Toby).

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Plaisance Sr and Ramona Comeaux Plaisance.

Glenn enjoyed fishing, hunting, and running his gear repair business, Marine Specialties, Inc. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his beloved family, especially his grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off on Friday, November 7th from 10:00 am until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, with a graveside service to follow in the church cemetery.
