Gerald John Rousse, Sr., 79, a native and resident of Galliano, LA, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Davis Rousse; sons, Lonnie Rousse (Richelle), Gerald Rousse, Jr., Michael Rousse and Alan Rousse (Rachel); grandchildren, Christopher Rousse (Heather), Courtney Rousse and Sagan Rousse; great grandchildren, Kami Rousse, Adilynn Rousse, Reed Rousse and Grant Quatrevingt; brother, Lanny Rousse (Wynn) and sisters, Annette Guidry and Ann Doucet (Keith).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleophas and Bessie Rousse; mother-in-law, Marcia Davis and brother-in-law, William Guidry.
Gerald worked for Tidewater Marine, Zapata, Gulf Fleet and Defelice Marine for 42 years and Crosby Tugs for 5 years. He was a member of the Green Head Club.
He was a loving family man and will be greatly missed.
