George J. Delatte Sr., a native and resident of Larose, died at 9:10 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2013.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Monday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. A Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Monday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine Dubois Delatte; sons, Kevin (Linda) Delatte and Corey (Laci) Delatte; daughter, Monica Pierce and husband, Adam; brothers, Daniel and Tommy Delatte; sister, Darlene Tastet; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his son, George J. Delatte Jr.; parents, Cleore Delatte Sr. and Blanche Boudreaux Delatte; brother, Cleore Delatte Jr.; and sister Maryann Orgeron.
Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
