Genevieve "Mickey" Acosta, 96, a native and resident of Raceland passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017.
Visitation will be held at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 27th from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in Holy Savior Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 79 years, Douglas "Doug" Acosta; son, Stephen D. Acosta (Joy); daughters, Patricia A. Walker (Colbert), Loretta A. Hargrove (Floyd), Cynthia A. Crochet, Paulette A. Jackson (John); sister, Sophie Breaux (Ernest); 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pierre and Anita Folse; brothers, Guy Folse and Jules Folse; sister, Irene Hohensee.
Falgout Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
