Freddie John Adams

Freddie John Adams,87, a native of Lafourche parish, passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at St. Mary’s Nativity Community Center, Raceland, LA, starting at 9:00 am until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Freddie is survived by his son, Terron Adams (Olivia), daughters, Michelle Wratislaw and Christine Trosclair (David); 4 grandchildren, Jason Adams, Ron Adams, Melinda Adams, Tina Trosclair; 2 step-grandchildren, Michael and Anthony Guidry; 7 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Mae Champagne Adams; son, Lynn Michael Adams; parents, Irvin Adams Sr. and Ethel Falgout Adams; brothers, Irvin Adams Jr., Clabert “C.J.” Adams; sister, Kathy Adams Loupe and son-in-law, Joe Wratislaw.

Freddie loved horses, cattle, ranching and rodeos.
