Francis J. Serigny, 83, a native of Golden Meadow passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2026.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 9:00 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Francis is survived by children, Sheila Serigny (Sonny), Sandra Nguyen (Matt), Leslie Fletcher (Kevin), Francis Griffin, Victoria Griffin and his bonus daughter, Amy Dubose; sisters, Alida Serigny and Louverda Hayes; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lucia Mobley Serigny; brothers, Chancey Serigny and Ernest Serigny and Louella M. Serigny.
He will be deeply missed.
