Francis X. Arcement, Sr., 84, a native and resident of Raceland, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2017.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church from 8:30am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at the church starting at 11:00 am with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
Francis is survived by his children, Francis X. Arcement Jr. (Barbara O.), Timothy P. Arcement (Penny E.), Lisa Arcement Zeringue (Craig); grandchildren, Dr. Adam Arcement (Michelle), Rudy Arcement (Laura), Nicholas Arcement (Kristy), Angelle Waguespack, Matthew Waguespack; great grandchildren, Alden Arcement, Ephraim Arcement, Reed Arcement, Hillari Arcement, Hailli Arcement and Grant Arcement; sisters, Alice Arceneaux, Doris Lagarde and Barbara Troxler.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Florence Fonseca Arcement; parents, Armand Arcement, Sr. and Adeline Richard Arcement; brothers, Richard, Earl, Armand Jr. and Ashton Arcement and grandchild, Tika Arcement.
Francis is retired from Texaco.
