Farrell J. Lafont

Farrell J. Lafont, 58, passed away on February 6, 2026. He was a native and resident of Golden Meadow.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation Thursday, February 12th, at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano, from 4:00PM – 9:00PM. The visitation will continue Friday, February 13th, at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano from 8:00AM – 10:00AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Prompt Succor in Golden Meadow at 11AM with burial to follow in church cemetery.

He is survived by his daughter, Betsy Renee Lafont; brother, Luderic Lafont Jr.; sisters, Laura Brooks (Mike) and Rebecca Hulin (Billy); nieces, Macy Dronet (Sean) and Lindy Brooks; nephews, Monty and Jace Brooks; Godchildren, Gavin Toups (Maddie) and Logan Guidry; great-niece/nephew, Lillian and Joseph Dronet; his loving pet, Dottie; and his companion, Lisa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luderic ‘Do Do’ Lafont Sr. and Brenda Griffin.

Farrell was a 32 degree Mason, past Master of Bayou Fellowship Lodge #484, and a member of The Jerusalem Shriners.
