Evelyn Boudreaux Detillier

Evelyn B. Detillier, 83, a native of Houma, LA and a resident of Mathews, LA, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Friday, December 26, 2025 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her sons, Jody Detillier (Tina) and Jimmy Detillier (Heather); daughters, Johnna Le (Le) and Jill Mendez (Po); grandchildren, Jai, Jae, John, Jody II, Jena, Jad, Jonni, Jesse, Jeremy and Joby; 11 great grandchildren and her pet dog, Lucy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John “Johnny” Detillier; son, Johnny “Lil Johnny” Detillier; parents, Andrew and Wilma Boudreaux; brothers, Henry “Poochie” Boudreaux and Richard Boudreaux, Sr. and great granddaughter, Jada Marie Le.

Evelyn was a great cook and enjoyed gardening, playing Pedro, Pokeno and Bouray. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
