Eugene "Gene" Paul Gautreaux. 87, a native and resident of Lockport, passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018.
Visitation will be from 8:00 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Holy Savior Catholic Church, Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Wednesday with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his son, Daniel "Buddy" Gautreaux (Sue); daughter, Barbara Eschette (companion Frank Dufrene); grandchildren, Tina, Gina, Terrel Jr. and Dwon; great grandchildren, Ethan, Devin, Beau, Candice and Brandon; great-great grandson, Jep; brothers, Hubert Gautreaux, Richard Gauthreaux (Lois) and Robert Gautreaux (Carol) and sister, Marie Eschette.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna May Chiasson Gautreaux; parents, Alec and Aline Dufrene Gautreaux; son-in-law, Terrel Eschette Sr.; sister-in-law, Dorothy Gautreaux and brother-in-law, Ernest Eschette.
Gene enjoyed bowling, gardening and fishing.
