Eugene A. Dupuy Jr., 86, a native of Lockport and resident of Luling, passed away Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Luling. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in St. Charles Cemetery in Luling.
He is survived by his sister, Eugenie Madden; sisters-in-law, Jean H. Gonzales and Joan Harris; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Harris Dupuy; parents, Eugene Dupuy Sr. and Nellie L. Dupuy; brothers, Harvey, Harstry, Roland, Burnell Peter, and Carl Dupuy; sisters, Irene Detiveaux, Essie Marie Rein, Eva Lina Dupuy, Valrie Dupuy, Marie Rita Blees, and Nellie Marguerite Jones; and pets, Candy, Tawny, Blackie, Sandals, Tanny, Peanut, Casey, Cookie, Trixie, Tetu, Bambi and Nag.
Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
