Eugene "Gene" Cunningham, 79, a native of Lutcher, LA and a resident of Des Allemands, LA, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2017.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, Des Allemands, LA. A Mass of Christian will be celebrated at 11:00 am Wednesday with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He was survived by his wife, Linda S. Cunningham; son, Kerry Cunningham; daughters, Bobbie Picou (William), Allison Dempster (Scottie); brother, Farrell Cunningham; sister, Mary Agnes Vicknair; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin Sr. and Sadie Cunningham; brother, Irvin Cunningham, Jr.; sisters, June Cotton, Jayce Mayeaux, Caroline Accardo; 2 infant siblings; 1 grandchild and one great grandchild.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
