Errol J. "Black" Chouest, Sr., a native of Golden Meadow and a resident of Galliano, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Saturday, April 23, 2016 and from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Falgout Funeral Home, Galliano. Religious services will be at 11:00 AM Sunday.
He is survived by his son; Errol "T-Black" Chouest, Jr. (Michelle); daughters, Dana Frederick (James), Sadie Triche (Gary), Sarah Chouest; brothers, Carroll and Leonard Chouest; sister, Bessie Adams; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benton Chouest, Sr. and Florida Chouest; brother, Benton Chouest, Jr.; sisters, Sadie Cheramie, Dolores Leger, Annabelle Kyle, Earline Blair, Joyce Chouest and grandson, Gaven Chouest.
He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.
