Ernest Anthony Plaisance, 74, a native and resident of Lockport, LA passed away on Monday, September 16, 2013 at his residence.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Holy Savior Catholic Church, Lockport, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Holy Savior Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife Nancy Ledet Plaisance; sons, Aaron Plaisance and companion Angela Gauthreaux, Glenn Plaisance and wife Julie, Lannie Plaisance and wife Rhonda; daughter Lilli P. Dufrene and companion Thomas Boudreaux; grandchildren, Lacey and companion Chase, Lance and wife Katie, Sarah Dufrene, Rebecca, Rachel, Catherine, Shelly, Erica, Chelsea, Lauren, Taylor, Morgan Plaisance; great grandchild, Keagan Dufrene; brothers, Wade, Ray, Dale, Joey; sisters Marilyn, Marybell, Judy, Joy and Gloria.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Julien Plaisance, Sr. and Cecile LeBlanc Plaisance; brothers, Gerard, Gene, Reid, Julien, Jr., Joseph; and, sisters, Ruth and Deborah.
He was an Honorary Lifelong Member of the Knights of Columbus Post 3054.
