Ernest P. Breaux, 97, a native of Gheens and a resident of Raceland, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018.
Visitation will from 9:00 am until 11:00 AM ON Thursday, February 1, 2018 at St. Hilary Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Thursday with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 75 years, Sophie F. Breaux; sons, Wayne P. Breaux (Dona), Charles Breaux (fiancé, Tessa); daughter, Sandra Morvant (Sidney); 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ozema and Lalie Rawley Breaux; brothers, Alex Sr., Lawrence and T-Man Breaux and sisters, Aline Sampey, Rosemary Arabie Cheramie and Lillian Guillot.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
