Erna Savoie LaBauve

Erna Savoie LaBauve, 94, a native of Bayou Blue and resident of Houma, died on Friday, July 11, 2025.

Erna is survived by her children, Coy LaBauve, and Leslie (Chuck) Martin; her stepchildren, Leah Ellender, and Angela LaBauve; her grandchildren, Erin (Jay) Whitten, Jessica Ellender, Philip (Dulce) Broussard, Renee LaBauve, Craig (Nancy) LaBauve, Chase LaBauve, Alicia (Mike) Kern, Shelby Knight, Alyssa Martin, and Sidney Martin; and her great-grandchildren, Lelia Harrison, Spencer Gott, Evan Gott, Keaton Gott, Bella Nuesslein, Makayla Kern, Coy LaBauve, Denison LaBauve, and Theodore LaBauve; her sister, Ellen Rogers, and brother, C. Paul Savoie Lt. Col. (Ret.).

Erna was preceded in death by her husband, Denison “Denny” LaBauve; her stepson, Chris LaBauve; her granddaughters, Kelsy Gott, Allison Ellender, and Candice Ann LaBauve Tucker; her parents, Edward and Lucille Savoie; her siblings, Ruby Daigle, Norma Falgout, Iris Brien, Murry Savoie, Philip Savoie, Richard Savoie, and Claire Marcell.

A visitation will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025, at St. Louis Catholic Church in Bayou Blue, from 9:00AM until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will begin at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in the Church’s cemetery.
