Emily Hernandez Faust, 72, a native of Mathews, LA, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2015.
Visitation will be from 8:30 AM until 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 24, 2015, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Saturday with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Melodi Hodson and husband Ray, Mary Ellen Boudreaux and Erin Boudreaux; granddaughters, Meghan Hodson and Hailey Hodson; brother, Raymond Hernandez Sr.; and loving companion, George Faust.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Dora Hernandez; sisters, Joyce Larousse, Anna Faye McElroy and Sara Hedman; brothers, Clarence Jr., Roy and Ronald "Ham" Hernandez.
Emily was a loving and energetic spirit. Her request is to celebrate her journey to Heaven by everyone not wearing black. She also wishes that in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
