Emick "Mickey" Decuir, 77, a native of Franklin and resident of Galliano, died at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cut Off.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Buteaux Decuir; sons, Emick "Pat" Decuir and Turk Decuir; daughter, Shannon Guidry and husband, Richard; sisters, Peggy Borel, Wilda Cali, Doris Giroir and Millie Thibodaux; brother, Murphy Decuir; grandchildren, Jacob Cantrelle and wife, Tessie, Kristy Decuir, Shealey Cheramie and husband, Steven, and Trisha Decuir; great-grandchildren, Nicholas Cantrelle, Chloe' Cantrelle, Kayla Matherne and Kolt Decuir; and step-grandchildren, Celema Delatte and Lacy Bouffanie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emile Decuir and Eliska Decuir Rice; stepfather, Gerald Rice; grandson, Jason Decuir; brother, Guy Decuir; and sisters, Dorothy Robicheaux and Regina Prevost.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
