Emelie D. Savoie, 85, a native of Point Aux Chien and resident of Lockport passed away on Wednesday, November 29th, 2023.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Savior Little Church in Lockport on December 7th, 2023 at 11:00 am with burial following in the Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Emelie is survived by her children: Deborah S. Orgeron husband Kent, Myron J. Savoie, and Rory A. Savoie wife Karrie; 4 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 5 step great grandchildren; 8 step great great grandchildren; sister: Anna Dupre Trosclair; and brothers: Kirby, Linward, and Carroll Dupre.
Mrs. Savoie was preceded in death by her husband: Sidney J. Savoie; parents: Clarence Dupre Sr. and Emily Brunet Dupre; brothers: Cory, Clarence Jr., Danis, Norris, Alton Sr. and Norbert Dupre; sisters: Arlene Dupre, Vesta Dupre Ford, Judy Dupre Lapeyrousse, Alila “Da” Dupre Verdin and step great grandson: Coby Prestenback.
