Elta R. Dufrene, 88, a native of Mathews and resident of Raceland passed away on Saturday May 4, 2013.
Visitation will be held at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial in Holy Savior Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Albert P. Dufrene, Sr.; sons, Albert "Al" (Bobbie) Dufrene, Jr., Glenn (Susan) Dufrene; daughters, Carolyn (Carl) Sevier, Cindy Folse and companion Neal Hohensee; brother, Douglas Rodriguez; sisters, Audrey R. Matherne, Cleo R. Landeche; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Whitney and Laura Rodriguez; sister, Norma R. Foret.
Falgout Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
