Elsie Campeau Rupe, 92, a native and resident of Lockport, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2014.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM, Friday, August 15, 2014 at Falgout Funeral Home, Lockport, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Friday at Holy Savior Catholic Church with burial to follow in Holy Savior Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Carl "Buddy" Rupe, Jr. and wife Suzanne; daughter, Beryl Dupre and husband Gil; sister, Rita Crumhorn; 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Rupe, Sr.; parents, Lucius and Edna Foret Campeau; brothers, Nolan Campeau, L.V. Campeau, Jr.; sisters, Edna Mae Boudreaux, Bessie Claudet, Beulah Sherman, Minnie Calloway, Sadie Stewart, Daisy Campeau and 1 great grandchild.
