Elma Candies Loupe, 94, a native and resident of Des Allemands, LA, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2019.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, Des Allemands, LA. A memorial mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am Wednesday with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Lambert “Pokey” Loupe, Russel Loupe (Retta); daughter, Lana Moyer (Donald); grandchildren, Rhiney Hampton, Rhea Dufrene and great grandchildren, Cody, Hayes, Regan, Reece and Riley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Taylor Loupe; parents, Prudent Sr. and Bertile Gonzales Candies; brothers, Bruce, Prudent, Lawrence, James and Elmo Candies and sisters, Pearl Matherne, Dolores Harrison, Vivian Plaisance and Beatrice Riech.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
