Elisabeth Bourgeois, 97, a native of Germany and a resident of Raceland, LA, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 on Monday, September 29, 2025 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Floyd Stevenson (Tammy), Phillip Bourgeois, Wesley Bourgeois (Beth), Allison Bourgeois, Heidi Doody (Daniel) and Sarah Olivo (Brandon).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester J. Bourgeois; son, Lester M. Bourgeois; daughter, Edeltraud Bourgeois and parents, Michael and Rosina Gangkofner.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
