It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She peacefully departed this life after 92 years with 63 wonderful years of marriage to the love of her life, her “Sweet” — a partnership that was the foundation of her joy and strength.
Visitation will be at St. Mary’s Church on Monday, July 14, 2025 from 9:00am until service time. A Memorial Service will be celebrated at 11:00am with burial in the church cemetery.

She was a woman of many talents and deep compassion, she dedicated part of her life as a Registered Nurse. Later, she served as the first female manager at Raceland Eckerds. Her creativity knew no bounds. She took particular pride in crafting porcelain dolls, each one a reflection of her patience and artistry. She was a proud member of the Red Hat Ladies. Her green thumb was evident in her flourishing gardens, where she spent countless hours nurturing plants. She loved the outdoors and found great joy in camping and spending time surrounded by nature and her dogs. Above all, she cherished her family and loved with her whole heart. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, strength, and creativity that will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Haydel Memorial Hospice and the caring staff of Terrebonne Place in Houma.
