Edward "Nue" Cheramie, 82, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2017.
Visitation will be from 8:00 am until 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, Golden Meadow, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Tuesday with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his sons, Linton (Robin) Cheramie, Denny (Wanda) Cheramie, Brad (Andrea) Cheramie; sister, Bernice "La-Loot" Griffin; grandchildren, Jace (Amy) Cheramie, Travis (Jennifer) Cheramie, Star (Israel) Naquin, Rani (Brett "Boogie") Dardar, Brad "BJ" Cheramie; and 10 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Carrie Cheramie; brother, Roland "Roach" Cheramie and sister, Mildred Doucet.
Falgout Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.
