Felanise "Phyllis" Cheramie Drolla, 86, a native of Golden Meadow, LA and a resident of Slidell, LA passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 11:45 AM in Slidell, LA.
Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, Golden Meadow, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Saturday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church with burial to follow at Cheramie Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons Danny Drolla, Philip Drolla; daughters Barbara Hebert and husband Bill, Catherine Ping, Willie Ann Cheramie and husband Oris "Jay"; brothers Jasper and George Cheramie; sisters Jane Schuerman and Joyce Rodriguez; 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Drolla; parents, Elie and Evenola Lefort Cheramie; brothers Alex, Dudley and Ashton Cheramie and one great grandchild.
Falgout Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.
