Dovie Ann Lyons

Dovie Ann Lyons, 77 a native of Valentine and resident of Lockport passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021.

Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland on Tuesday, April 6th from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Dovie is survived by her son, Francis Toups, Jr.; former daughter-in-law, Kristy Foret Toups; daughter, Dierdre Matherne (Johnny, Sr.); godchild, Doreen Theriot; 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Dovie was preceded in death by her parents, Philocles and Frances Curole; Son, Todd Chiasson, Sr.; sister, Dolores Bourgeois.

Dovie enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino.
