Douglas Felarise, 74, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Larose passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021.
Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Saturday, October 9th from 8 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 am with burial to follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
Mr. Douglas is survived by his wife of 52 years: Priscilla Bailleaux Felarise, daughter: Geneva Savoie (John), son: Mark Felarise (Crissy), son-in-law: Kerry Gros, grandchildren: Abby, Austin, and Justin, step-grandchildren: Harley Tastet (Damain) and Gracie Theriot, step-great grandchildren: Kynlee and Kreed Tastet, brothers: Sullivan and Kirt Felarise, and sisters: Nora Thibodaux and Debra Delatte.
Mr. Felarise was preceded in death by his parents: Norman and Dorita Felarise, and daughter: Christine Gros.
He was a KC member and loved to dance, and tend to his fruit trees and garden.
