Dorothy "Miss Dot" F. Maronge, 78, a native of Lafourche Parish and resident of Raceland, died at 1:20 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2011.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her father, Agney P. Folse; one son, Evest Maronge and wife, Rachel D. Maronge; four daughters, Ramona Guidry, Rebecca Maronge, Rosalie Rogers and husband, Craig, and Rachel M. Quick; one sister, Dolores F. Davis; and 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clement J. Maronge; her mother, Gertrude Arabie Folse; and son-in-law, Michael G. Guidry Sr.
She was a parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church.
The family would like to thank Journey Hospice and Thibodaux Home Health.
