Dorothy P. DeJean, 89, a native of Lockport and resident of Des Allemands passed away on Friday, September 2, 2016.
Visitation will be held at St. Gertrude Catholic Church on Thursday, September 8th from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Gregory DeJean, Robert DeJean, Richard DeJean, Mark DeJean; daughter, Lorraine DeJean Faucheux; brothers, George Parr, Henry Parr; sister, Doris Parr Ledet; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy DeJean, Sr.; parents, Jules and Odile Chaisson Parr; son, Percy DeJean, Jr.; sister, Mabel Parr Simoneaux.
Falgout Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
